Journaling –- Most of the United States was hit with cold temperatures and unexpected snow. 

Although this is typical for Michigan, we experienced some extremely colder temperatures. 
The wind chill factor, at one point, was -11 or so.  School was even called off on Friday due to the severe weather conditions.
