Sometimes the
best plans are those that are not planned at all!
While on
vacation, along the Western coast of Michigan, we had planned to visit the
Silver Lake Dunes and take a dune buggy ride.
While on this tour, we heard people mention another scenic spot which
just happened to be nearby.
We decided
that we would deviate from our planned itinerary for the day and visit this
historic, local lighthouse.
Luckily, we
did not have to travel that far before arriving at this local attraction. And, to our surprise and good fortune, we
ended up discovering a beautiful, scenic spot!
The weather
was perfect (with just the right amount of lake breeze) and the views were
incredible so we spent the rest of the day relaxing and building sand creatures
along the shore...
