April is upon us! I'm hosting this month's April Sampler Challenge over at Scrap TakeOut's facebook page and you are in luck because this is one awesome challenge--you get to work with a freebie mini kit!

Freebie Mini Kit Time - Wilma4Ever's August 2013, Country Faire Blog Train

Grab a ticket and get ready to ride the Wilma4Ever's Blog Train.  For August, the theme was "Country Faire."  What a perfect summer theme right? Once school ends, it seems like there is a fair or circus rolling through all major cities throughout the U.S.! 

Every year for the Fourth of July, our family goes to a local city where we grew up and we walk through the fair before watching those fabulous fireworks.  There are so many fun colors, yummy fair food and some wild rides too!  This was the inspiration for my portion of this blog train!

If these colors look familiar, that is because this kit shares some colors of my "Dreaming of a Mouse" series--the red, yellow, and white too!  So, look back at my previous blog posts for a coordinating alphabet freebie!

Wilma4Ever May Blog Train - Scrap it Simple (The Beach at Sunset) Mini Kit Freebie

Wilma4Ever's May Blog Train has left the station for May!  The theme was "Scrap It Simple" and ideas were hobbies, interests, friends, or memories. I just looked at the color scheme and focused on the salmon and the blues and grey and when I did that, I was able to come up with the colors that remind me of the beach.    The beach is a place where many people, including me, go to in order to relax, have fun, and hang out with friends and family.  So I was able to combine a lot of the ideas for "Scrap it Simple" into one mini kit.  Here is the preview of your mini freebie this month.

Wilma4Ever's "Feeling Lucky" Blog Train for March; Freebie Mini Kit by Pizazz Pixels

I am excited to be riding Wilma4Ever's Blog Train for the first time!  I just started designing for this fantastic store the other month and now wanted to join in on one of the train cars for their blog train since the colors were so bold and bright and of course, Irish too!

Here is the preview of the mini kit which I designed using the theme "Feeling Lucky."  I focused on the darker colors for the papers except for that single paper with a splash of mellow yellow.  I decided to go a bit Irish with the hat, clover scatter, fun Irish pin, and some lucky coins for you too!  I also added a more generic frame and a few rainbow themed elements so that you could use this kit for other things as well!

If you could take a moment to tell me what you think, I would really appreciate it!  It encourages me!
