More CT Layouts for Gatsby Glamour and Glitz

Today I have some more incredible layouts created by Kristine using my latest series, "Gatsby Glamour and Glitz."  If you look closely, the 2 layouts start very similar yet she changes the paper position slightly and then adds different elements to create a completely new type of layout!  For the first, she added a brush to the left border to match my frame which looked incredible!  Just look at that couple--looks like something which can be framed and treasured for years to come on the fireplace mantel!

Now this second layout focuses in on some vintage photos which Kristine was able to get her hands on..Looks like a movie star to me!  What a perfect way to remember someone!  (I especially liked the feathers and the little C on the mat to show the last name to document the heritage.)

Thanks Kristine,  you are really getting a lot of use out of this series!

CT Layouts - Gatsby Glamour and Glitz Series

Ready to see how my Creative Team used my latest kit, Gatsby Glamour and Glitz?  Here are just some of their layouts using the papers, frames, and element packs of this glamorous series.  The colors of black beige and cream just scream sophistication and this is exactly what was achieved through these layouts!

Now isn't that just breattaking!  Both the photo and the layout of course!  I just loved how Kristine layered all those papers, mats, and frames to achieve this piece of art!  (The finished look kind of reminded me of a stamp--one that could be used for a future anniversary or as a special tribute to this couple.)
That beige paper certainly showcased where they held their ceremony! And the way she cut out her photo with a mat shape and framed it with the circular frame of my kit--perfect!   All those black accents throughout really gave it that extra wow factor too!

Here are the credits for her layout:

Decorative 87 by Diana – flowers around frame

These last 2 layouts were created by Arimbi.  Here she shows off how you can swap just 2 things in a layout--the top photo and the butterfly shape cut out to achieve an entirely different look.

I especially loved all those individual butterflys created with all the different papers of the kit. So elegant and the perfect way to share a special message from mom to daughter! I also loved the photo effect used on her daughter's photo!  It really matches this kit beautifully!

Gatsby Glamour and Glitz Series - New Releases

Have you heard the buzz about the latest Great Gatsby movie with the heartthrob Leonardo DiCaprio?  It was released this month and it portrays thefestyle of a few main characters in the roaring 20s.

This movie, along with the theme of glamour and opulance inspired me to create a series of coordinating digital designs... There are papers, frames, and a set of elements designed around the color scheme of black, cream, grey, and of course silver and gold!  Here are the previews

Celebrate the glitz and glamour of the roaring 20s by adding one, two, or all three kits to your stash!

(Each portion is budget priced at $1.50 each so you can add a lot of gold and silver to your layouts or projects without spending a lot of gold and silver!)

This series was designed as an exclusive Build A Kit series for the month of June for Digi Style Designs.  You can find these items only at My Store at Digi Style Designs

PS  I'll be posting some layouts from my CT members shortly for some inspiration

An Aquamarine Night to Remember Layout

A 3 day weekend on the way because of Memorial Day for us. Looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend!

We did tons of yardwork today because it was in the 60s--perfect for working outdoors! Tomorrow we are celebrating the holiday early with relatives and then on Monday our son is marching in the Memorial Day parade with the Cub Scouts so that will be nice! Last year we marched under this huge US flag raised up by 2 huge fire truck ladders so it was awe inspiring!

Memorial Day is a speical time to remember all of those who have fought for our freedoms and it is also a time to remember those close to us who have passed on as well.  Here is a spcial layout which I think is the perfect way to remember what Memorial Day is all about!  Here is a layout which Kristine did to pay tribute to her aunt.

An Aquamarine Night to Remember Quick Pages

First of all, my heart and prayers go out to all those affected by the severe weather--especially in Oklahoma!  What devastation!  We had some very humid weather and severe thunderstorm alerts and even a brown out but nothing in comparison to those who lost lives, homes, and everything!

I had some requests to do some quick pages for my latest release so I spent some time designing them--12 to be exact.  Now you can celebrate, and save time scrapping those special occasions too!  Here they are:

These are available at all my stores

An Aquamarine Night to Remember Layout

Are you ready for a stunning layout created by Arimbi?  When I received this beauty, I just gasped!  It was so beautiful.

That paper really does look like those old time records and she just went with that music theme and created a spectacular piece of art here!  So much fun in this one!  All those little elements scattered throughout and that dusting at the edges to just give it that extra wow factor.

I was impressed at her re-coloring of some of the elements to better match her photos!  It really shows that you can modify any kit to make it "fit your photos".

You can still grab this kit on sale over at my store at Heartfelt Perfections where I am having my Grand Opening sale until the end of the month.

A Bit of Green-Pistachio Layout; New Creative Team Member

I am happy to announce the second member of my Creative team--Kristine.

Here is some background information about her.  --My name is Kristine aka. krihar of Kristine’s Kreations.  I live just outside of Eugene Oregon on a lovely 22 acres of forest land.  Along with my loving husband of 28 years, we share one amazing 14 year old son, two cats, and two dogs.  We are very involved in our son’s schooling.  He is an athlete that plays multiple sports so this keeps us very busy taking pictures, filming, chauffeuring, cooking, cleaning, and of course cheering!
I started Scrapbooking about 20 years ago with a few of my closest friends.   Just over the past couple of years, I have gone on my own to learn Digital Scrapbooking.  I still enjoy hybrid scrapbooking very much.  I really love to draw and occasionally dabble in art journaling, altered art canvases and some painting.  I also love the outdoors, baseball, basketball, foot ball and bicycle riding.
Here are 2 layouts which she finished using my "A Bit of Green, Pistachio" kit.  She used this kit to show off some beautiful scenery and some plant life too.

These stunning photos were taken by her son who was 13 at the time if you can believe it.  These photos showcase the Pacific Coast in Florence, Oregon.  He definately has an eye for what makes a stunning photograph!  What a perfect combination, beutiful photos and amazing artistry to show off these loveley scenes!

This next layout focuses on Wildflowers which are native to Oregon.  Such a beautiful way to show off nature's glory!  (Now I need to grab my own photos of my garden and do something similar with this kit!)

Thanks Kristine

Remember, there are still 2 weeks left before I close my call for more Creative Team Members.  Here are the details again and I hope to hear from some more talented people!  (Just email me at pizazz300@hotmail.com.)  Place CT Call in the subject line please.

Layout for Latest Relase, An Aquamarine Night to Remember

Arimbi just finished her first layout using my latest release, An Aquamarine Night to Remember.

Isn't the journaling so cool--the faded and worn look of it makes it look a bit nostalgic.  It really is the perfect choice for that grungy, worn paper!

Adding a bit of red to the page really adds that color pop factor too!

This kit is still on sale at all my stores!

Have a great weekend--looks like a sunny one where I live--yeah

Blooming Romance Layouts by my Creative Team

I am happy to show off some layouts from some of my Creative Team members.  For their first assignment, I asked them to select a few kits of their choice to work with.  It seems as if Blooming Romance was the popular choice because two people wanted to work with that mega kit!

First off, here is Arimbi's layouts using Blooming Romance by myself, Pizazz Pixels.

What an Incredible Wedding Ceremony layout. I just loved the way Arimbi faded the photo in the background to show off the georgeous alter and those amazing flowers on top.  (Looks like a lovely place to hold a ceremony of any type!)  The ribbon at the bottom just finishes the page off nicely!

She really captured all the spcial moments too of the ceremony at the bottom on that paper cut out!  I can appreciate this because I love to use multiple photos in 1 single layout--makes scrapping a bit quicker!  I also loved the way Arimbi used the elements here too.  The grid element worked perfectly with those photos too. Such a beautiful bride I must say! Even more, a stunning page.

I thought it was cool how Arimbi used the poligon tool throughout this layout.  The way she added the part to the top was very clever--it ties the top to the bottom of the page together to give it more of a balance.  (It also shows off all those incredible papers you can get in this kit too :))

Mich Perez is one of the Creative Team Members at Wilma4Ever.  Here are her beautiful layouts.
Don't you just love the white and that group of clustered flowers in between that couple!  Absolutely beautiful!

An unexpected way to use this kit--showcasing some fun at the beach!  It definately works for this picture!  I especially like the cluster work on the right with the heart, flowers and tag.    Another wonderful layout!

Thanks again ladies for your creative layouts.  And if any of you are interested in working with my kits and promoting my designs, there is still time to join my Creative Team until June 1--my birthday!.  Please email pizazz300@hotmail.com  and the subject is Creative Team interest.

You can pick up Romance Blooms by Pizazz Pixels at any of my stores and this kit is on sale too for a very short time!

Wilma4Ever May Blog Train - Scrap it Simple (The Beach at Sunset) Mini Kit Freebie

Wilma4Ever's May Blog Train has left the station for May!  The theme was "Scrap It Simple" and ideas were hobbies, interests, friends, or memories. I just looked at the color scheme and focused on the salmon and the blues and grey and when I did that, I was able to come up with the colors that remind me of the beach.    The beach is a place where many people, including me, go to in order to relax, have fun, and hang out with friends and family.  So I was able to combine a lot of the ideas for "Scrap it Simple" into one mini kit.  Here is the preview of your mini freebie this month.

Layout using my Bold Sophistication kit--Happy Mother's Day

Hello all.  Happy Mother's Day!  I hope all the moms and caretakers out there are getting pampered and receiving extra love and goodies on this day to celebrate Moms everywhere!  I woke up to my kids giving me huge hugs and cards to celebrate!  They are out right now getting me something so I have some free time to do some designing and scrapbooking--something I also love.

As many mothers and caretakers know, we have a tough but so rewarding job--we have to do it all--manage time, schedules, clean house (well it is a goal anyways), love our children unconditionally, and discipline too along with having other responsibilities like a professional job (or two or three :)) and we do this all while dealing with pets and dear husbands too along with the rest of the world.  Moms really wear different hats!

The card my 8 year old son gave me was pretty short but still heartfelt.  He said Thanks for going to all his practices, games of all the sports he is in.  He also told me "You are the b--e--s--t mom ever in the world!"  So sweet right?  This card reminded me of a layout which one of my fans sent me the other day.  She used one of my kits "Bold Sophistication" in a unique way--to show off  baseball with her little leaguer.  Here is her adorable layout which I wanted to show off.  (Perfect for Mother's Day right?)

You can purchase this kit for under $2.00 at these stores:

Photogenic moment A First for Our Son-- Layout using Awake Spring

I just completed my second layout using my kit "Awake Spring" using photos I just took a few days ago.  (I am glad to get some current scrapbooling done even though I am about 8 or so years behind in all my other years worth of photos and memories!) It is awesome to have some time to myself to scrap!!!!!!!

Some background behind this photo!  Of course I love to take photos (as my dh and the rest of my family will attest to), but usually I end up asking my daughter to pose because she is more accomodating and actually enjoys all the attention!  Our son, on the other hand, usually is the one with a scowl on his face in photos or he is the one who is conveniently looking away in every shot!  It just so happened that he and I were able to spend some one on one time together at a local park while his sister was on a hike with the girl scouts.  We stayed behind and just hung out.  I asked him to pose in front of the beautiful budding trees and as the afternoon progressed, he actually asked me to take his picture!  What a shocker!  I, without hesitation, grabbed my phone and took a quick shot and this was the result...his first smile for the camera.  What a proud moment for mom!

Spring Time - A Special Time to Enjoy Nature, Family

Happy National Scrapbooking Day everyone!  I decided to take some time away from designing to focus on my own scrapbooking for a change!

Spring has finally sprung here in Michigan!  We have had an entire few days of unseasonably warm weather in the 70's and even 80's!  There is nothing I enjoy more than to grab the kids and go outdoors to enjoy some fresh air. It is nice to take some time to just have fun and not worry about all those day to day tasks and hassles!  It is even better that I can have some time available to spend with my children!

Just the other day, I dropped off our daughter at a girl scout outting at a local park and I had some rare time to spend with my son all to myself!  It was truly a special time!  It gave me some time to just watch him and give him some space to just enjoy being a boy having fun!  Here is a layout which I created to share with all of you...

Journaling:  Spring Time is the perfect time to  forget about everything on the “To Do” List and just spend some quality time enjoying the things that matter most....

Hope you too can enjoy some special moments with those close to you....
