First Kit Releases to My Store - Fairies!!

Who would have thought that I would be opening a digital scrapbooking store with Fairies but that is exactly what I have done!  I designed these kits because my kids (ages 6 and 9) are really into fairies.  We first discovered the magic of fairies when we looked for fairy doors in a neighboring city.  After this, we were all hooked!!!!  My kids began to make their own houses and I began to create these magical beings on the computer!  Here are some previews of kits which are fairy related.

There is something magical about fairies whether it be the tooth fairy, a fairy godmother, or fairies in general so this kit was designed to capture that magic

Girls Just Want to Have Fun and so do fairies.  Here is a kit to document some of those magical times spent with girls, daughters, kids, or fairies if you are a believer

If you want a fairy which depicts the hair color of you or someone you love, or if you just want fairies with different fashion color choices, here is the perfect choice for you!

If you want a fairy which depicts the heritage of you or someone you love, or if you just want fairies with different fashion color choices, here is the perfect choice for you.

I cannot forget about boys!  This kit is dedicated to all those boys out there who are sweet, angelic, or interested in those woodland fairies and gnomes.  The colors and elements are also generic enough to capture all of those exploring adventures or discoveries outside as well.
I used elements from these kits to design my blog header.

All these kits can be found in my new store.  (That has a nice ring to it!)

STS September 2011 Blog Train Freebie - Morning Time is My Time

It's time again for another ride on the STS Blog Train.  This time the theme is "A Little Me Time".  When I first saw the colors, I went a different direction than most and for some reason I thought of breakfast because that is the time of day when all seems to be quiet (probably because the kids are not up yet).  Hope you can capture some great morning photos with this mini.

(P.S), Keep watching this blog for an extra  freebie with the same color scheme...

August 2011, week 4 freebie - Swirl and Twirl Mini Kit

First off, I would like to thank everyone for their nice comments on my contribution to the STS August Train.  I really appreciate you taking the time to comment!

With school starting, I will try to offer freebies once a week or I will try to create kits for some color challenges or blog trains so stay tuned...

Here is Swirl and Twirl.

(Remember, I have a bunch of mini kits with the color scheme in the last post so each part will coordinate with the other kits that I will offer.)

Swirl and Twirl Upcoming mini freebie

The kids and I just got back from a camping trip.  We had so much fun doing the various activities such as fishing, hiking, geo caching, cooking over the campfire, and swimming.  The downside--we are now itching like crazy because the mosquitoes were out in full force and they were hungry!

A while back I was inspired to enter a designing seminar for Divine Digital called "Pass the Pixel".  We had to design items based on a color scheme.  Here is this scheme:
There were 2 challenges but then health problems and life got in the way for the moderator so the challenge was stopped.

Well, I could not resist the colors and decided to make a bunch of mini kits with various themes.  I will be uploading each kit each week for you to enjoy.  Here is the first mini with a salmon focus called Swirl and Twirl.  (I think I am on a pink kick lately but do not worry, those other colors from the above swatch will come in later.)

Stay tuned while I upload this and get it ready for all of you...

Frosting Fun QP6

Today is the last installment for quick pages.  (Sometimes when you bake, things get a little messy especially if you have extra helping hands around!  Also, there is a lot more tasting of the batter or the toppings before you even put your creation into the oven.  Here is a page to showcase all those baking mishaps which can leave you with some great funny memories!)

Here you go...

Frosting Fun QP5 Freebie

Today the kids and I are leaving for a camping experience with the girl scouts.  I will be watching over and supervising about 20 girls so I will probably need a vacation when I get back!  (We went last year though, and the weather cooperated and was not too hot when we went out for our various hiking excursions and activities.  Hopefully we will get lucky again.  )

Another sweet treat today.  Here is page 5. . .

Frosting Fun QP3

Here is another quick page to add to your stash...  (My personal favorite cupcake flavor is strawberry or cherry chip with chocolate frosting so I created an element which will be fat free!)

Layout of Frosting Fun QP 4

Happy Sunday.

We spent Saturday playing Monopoly (the real board game) this morning because it was a bit overcast.  The kids (ages 6 and 9) were actually really into the buying and selling of everything and they wanted to play all day!  We had a really great time!

A while back I mentioned a Cannoli cake that I had made.  I finally got all my photos uploaded and found this masterpiece amongst the photos!

This cake was so delicious.  It was a bit labor intensive but I would make it again in a heartbeat because it was so yummy!  The flavor you ask?  If you have ever tasted those Italian treats in a supermarket than this is about 5 notches up from that because the cannoli flavoring was chocolate and the frosting was cream cheese flavored!

Here is the finished masterpiece using QP 4 which you will get in the next few days...
