Newly Released Kit-Beautiful Blooms and Bugs by Pizazz Pixels

Do you love flowers or are you a gardener?  Or do you love the outdoors and nature!  I love all three!  Here is a kit which was designed and inspired by some of my favorite things outside... A bit later I will try to show you some of the things that are growing around our home!

This kit is called Beautiful Blooms and Bugs and it could also be used for the growing years of youngsters as well!

You can purchase this kit at any of my stores:
My Store at Digi Style Designs
My Store at Southern Comfort Scraps
My Store at  RBL Designz

CT Layouts for Beautiful Blooms and Bugs

Hope everyone had a restful memorial day if you live in the states and were lucky enough to have 3 days off like I had.

We did something a little different this year--we marched in the Memorial Day parade!  I was a proud parent of two members of the parade--a cub scout mom and a Girl Scout mom.  It was very hot--around 90 degrees but I figured we could suffer a bit and should not complain since this is a holiday to remember all of those who have fought for us and the sacrifices that they and their families make every day.

Anyways, I have been itching to show you some layouts which my Creative Team has been working on lately.  Get ready because they really outdid themselves!

Here is a stunning layout by Claudi.  She used this kit to showcase her daughter playing at a park.  Aren't those clusters just breathtaking?  I just love it!

Here are two layouts by Deia.
She created a hybrid project--a calendar-- out of this kit.  I just love how the photo was placed inside of the days of the month.  I also love the title work on this one with the month of June highlighted.

Here is the second layout by Deia.  It highlights a local country singer--Carrie Underwood and some of the lyrics of her song.  What a great idea to scrap some favorite tunes and some songs which could be inspirational or just good listening!

Beautiful Blooms and Bugs can be found in all of my stores.

Newly Released Kit: Year in Review: June (Start of Summer) by Pizazz Pixels and a CT Layout

The start of summer is officially underway where I live.  The weather is in the 80s and the sun is shining with a bit of breeze.  It is funny because on the other side of the world where one of my Creative Team member slives, winter is starting--how interesting!

Anyways, this is one of the kits I have been working on!  Get ready for some bold and bright colors everyone and get out those shades too for this one!  Summer officially begins in June. When I think of summer, I think of kids home from school, warmer weather, slower days, time spent outside, cold refreshing lemonade, vacation time, and a less hectic schedule where you can just kick back and relax.

This kit was designed to help you to scrap and celebrate all of your summer time memories with this bright and colorful kit!

You can purchase this kit at any of my stores:
My Store at Digi Style Designs
My Store at Southern Comfort Scraps
My Store at  RBL Designz

Oh, how could I forget..  Claudia was quick to return a layout using this kit.  This is her daughter dancing and the colors match perfectly!  (The versatility of this kit is shown here because these are pictures of dancers inside--the only sunshine are those cute little faces :)  I really liked how she creates borders out of various papers and elements! Thanks!

Happy summer days everyone!

CT Layouts for Guardian Angels Among Us by Pizazz Pixels

Happy Mother's Day to all those who are doing the most important job out there!

Here was my gift from my Creative Team--they were able to complete a few layouts from my kit Guardian Angels Among Us.

Here is the layout from Claudia:
I just loved how she included one horizontal or long photo which is the focus and then included several mini vertical photos around the bigger one!  The "white space" around the cluster of photos is amazing to me too.

Here are a few layouts which Deia completed for my kit using some magical images!

By layering the elements in different ways creates a new look entirely!  Isn't that title precious?  I really liked how the word "angel" is centered between the two dangling hearts!

Thanks again ladies--You are so talented!  I am a lucky designer to have you in my corner!

Newly Released Kit: (Guardian) Angels Among Us by Pizazz Pixels

Thanks for all the lovely comments on my Blog Train freebie people!  You are really making my day and I love hearing about wedding customs from you all!

I have just released my latest kit to my stores called  (Guardian) Angels Among Us.  Here is a preview:
Here is the inspirational story behind this kit--(It is a long one but it will give you hope for the goodness in people)....

I am thankful for Angels Among us—you know, those rare individuals who are empathetic, sympathetic, caring, loving, giving, and compassionate!  If you are lucky enough to meet one of these angels, you are truly blessed as I was this past weekend (October 15, 2011).  Here is my story…
My husband and I along with our two small children (ages 10 and 7) had to run some errands like we typically have to do during the weekends.  My husband had to go to an electronics store so I told him that the kids and I would check out the local Dollar Store which was right next door.  We went our separate ways and then met up again and proceeded to find a few items that we could give away as Halloween gifts to our neighbors (a.k.a., a Boo gift). After our purchase, my husband wanted to check out another store that sold household goods so we all walked over to that store.  Before we even got to the door, my husband asked me if I had his car keys.  I told him that I did not (he had driven).  This is where our day took a turn for the worse because of course, we did not have a spare key to the car and we do not own a cell phone (one of the rare families not to have one I know) so we could not even contact anyone for help.
We ended up looking around the various three stores where the keys could have been and we looked in the parking lot and in the car but the keys were nowhere to be found.  The car next to us asked us if we lost our keys and we told them that we had.  (They basically just said they had a spare key to their car but it was in another state which in no way was helpful to us at all).
When we could not find our keys, my husband decided that we should just walk home and get the spare (home, by the way, is five miles away from the stores we were at).  We were not really dressed for the hike but started off anyways with little other options.  Well, we were doing fine until half way home, our six-year-old son said his feet hurt.   I told my husband that he should go the remaining distance while the kids and I would stay put at a local convenience store (CVS).  Our nine-year-old daughter wanted to go with dad but I put my foot down and told her that we would wait at the store until dad picked us up.
We knew it would be a while before my husband could get to us because he still had about 2.5 miles to go and he would have to find the keys and then drive my car to pick us up.  I decided that it would be best to hang out in CVS for a while because the weather was cold, it was very windy, and I was the only person who had a coat.  As many of you are probably aware, little kids cannot be contained in a store for much longer than 15 minutes without touching everything, pressing every Halloween decoration, and picking up every toy that they see.  After I am sure we outlived our welcome, I decided to wait outside for a bit.  Well, we found a ledge and all three of us huddled under my coat and proceeded to enjoy the trail mix which I hoped would satisfy my kid’s hunger for more than a half hour!  We must have been sitting there for a good five-ten minutes when a lady approached us.  She said that she knew it was cold outside and she thought that we might need something warm.  She told us that she wanted to give us two blankets which she just purchased inside.  (I could see that one blanket was purple—a girl’s color, and one was olive green—a boy’s color).  She then said “Merry Christmas”.  When she presented her gracious gift to us, I thanked her for her generosity but told her that we really did not need the blankets; we were waiting to be picked up by someone.  She asked if I was sure, and I repeated that I was indeed sure.  We spoke for a bit and then she left us to go to her car (blankets still in hand).  About a minute later, my husband pulled up and I shared with him the story of this woman’s compassion and selfless act because she did not want anything in return other than helping others out.  Now I share this story with you in hopes that 1) Maybe that woman is reading this and she can know that she is truly an angle among us and 2) Maybe we can all help others out even in the smallest way so the world can be a better place for all.
(P.S. I did not have a camera with me so I could not get a photo of this woman or her gift, but I did find a photo of yarn which represents the colors in the blankets which she offered to us.)   This was the theme for the color scheme for this kit.
P.S.S.  I actually designed the angel in this woman’s likeness because she had darker hair.  Unfortunately, I never got her name but her act of kindness will certainly be remembered by me for a long time.

Layout for "Enjoy the Earth"

I am proud to announce the second member of my Creative Team--Claudia PixelKidds.  She resides in Germany and here is the first layout which she created for my kit "Enjoy the Earth"  She is using this kit to create a photo book of their holiday in Turkey.  (The Earth map was used as part of a travel theme--so clever Claudia!)

Here it is.

I so love having a creative team because they can do things with my kit that I did not even think was possible!  In Claudia's case, she added some grungy texture to the edges of my papers and she also used boarder cutouts to create the scalloped edge on that brown paper.  By making slight adjustments like this, you can completely change the look of my kit and I love this!!!!
