Ginger Scraps Challenge – Mix it Up Challenge and Warmth of a Familly

You must use a Ginger Scraps Collaboration for this challenge.  I chose Warmth of Family by the GingerBread Ladies which I thought would be perfect for Fall, Family, and Thanksgiving photos!

Ginger Scraps Challenge – Daily Download Challenge

Last month, Ginger Scraps had a daily download filled with a kit,  a couple of templates, and a mask.  The theme of this collection was giving thanks and the colors were perfect for fall!  Here are a couple of previews of the collection....

Round 2 - GDS Entry: Freebie Mini Kit - Learn to Cook

After receiving some positive feedback about my designs for the designing contest over at Go Digital Scrapbooking, I am happy to announce that I am moving on to Round 2!  This is where the competition heats up and I really have to rely on everyone and ask for their help in pushing me forward to I can move on to the next round!

For Round 2, we were given the following photo from which we had to create a color theme from (6 colors)

We also  had to use "Bucket List" as the theme which kind of threw me for a loop--I had a hard time coming up with a list of things that I wanted to do in the future.  I started off with the travel thing but that was more of a long term dream so I went with something a bit more short-term--Cooking.  I went with this theme because it has been a dream of mine to sign up for cooking classes.  I definately could use a little help in this area and I often look at cooking shows, recipe books, and magazines for inspiration and tips.

Since Thanksgiving is coming up, I decided to relate my cooking mini kit to this holiday.  Here is the kit which I designed for Round 2:

Before grabbing this kit, I would really appreciate it if you could do the following 2 things so I have a better chance at Round 3.

1.  Leave a comment/reply in the thread where the download links can be found.
2.  Use this kit to create a layout.  (I was hoping that you could scrap a favorite family friendly food).  Post the layout to this gallery (Go Digital Scrapbooking)

If I see that there are bunches of comments and there are some layouts using my kit, I WILL give you a reward--a free blog add on which relates to this kit.  This add on will include a dessert, by the way—and a few other yummy goodies) and I will post it on Friday, November 16th if you can help me out a bit!

Thanks so much!

Newly Released Kit - Feathered Friends

First of all, I want to thank all the active and non-active personelle as well as the veterans and their families for their service to this country!  Happy  delayed Veteran's Day!
When I looked at the calendar, I could not believe that the next US holiday is almost a week and a half away--Thanksgiving!  This holiday features family, friends, football games, Pilgrims and Indians, and of course, the wonderful feast!
Enjoy the rich colors and textures in this kit designed to showcase all of your fall and/or Thanksgiving festivities.  Even if you do not celebrate Thanksgiving, most of the papers and elements are also generic enough to apply to a variety of themes!
