After receiving some positive feedback about my designs for the designing contest over at Go Digital Scrapbooking, I am happy to announce that I am moving on to Round 2! This is where the competition heats up and I really have to rely on everyone and ask for their help in pushing me forward to I can move on to the next round!
For Round 2, we were given the following photo from which we had to create a color theme from (6 colors)
We also had to use "Bucket List" as the theme which kind of threw me for a loop--I had a hard time coming up with a list of things that I wanted to do in the future. I started off with the travel thing but that was more of a long term dream so I went with something a bit more short-term--Cooking. I went with this theme because it has been a dream of mine to sign up for cooking classes. I definately could use a little help in this area and I often look at cooking shows, recipe books, and magazines for inspiration and tips.
Since Thanksgiving is coming up, I decided to relate my cooking mini kit to this holiday. Here is the kit which I designed for Round 2:
Before grabbing this kit, I would really appreciate it if you could do the following 2 things so I have a better chance at Round 3.
1. Leave a comment/reply in the thread where the download links can be found.
2. Use this kit to create a layout. (I was hoping that you could scrap a favorite family friendly food). Post the layout to this gallery (Go Digital Scrapbooking).
If I see that there are bunches of comments and there are some layouts using my kit, I WILL give you a reward--a free blog add on which relates to this kit. This add on will include a dessert, by the way—and a few other yummy goodies) and I will post it on Friday, November 16th if you can help me out a bit!
