(During a recent boy scout outing where the troop rode for a bit, had a picnic lunch, and then our family decided to take an additional longer bike riding trip. It turns out that the trail was a bit longer than we thought. Our poor son--he has a little boy's bike and it was difficult for him to keep up on a trail with very little hills. We finally took a much needed break as it was getting hotter and hotter and we did not know when we would finish! Don't they look so worn out? Afterwards, we found out that we really traveled 8 miles--no wonder why we were so tired!
